Status of this page

To be filled.

This page will describe the procedure end to end, from the point where a study has been agreed between sites to the point where results are available.

Intended contents

What a study consists of. The definition a site submits, and what the other sites receive.

Preconditions. What must be in place before a study can start: the components installed, the sites reachable, the data prepared, and the permissions required.

Starting a study. The procedure, including where it is initiated and what each participating site must do to join.

Coordination. How the sites agree on the sequence of work, and what happens when a site is slow or unavailable.

Monitoring. How to see the state of a running study, which sites have completed their part, and where to look when a site appears stalled.

Results. Where results are written, what leaves each site, and what remains local.

Stopping or abandoning a run. How to end a study cleanly, and what is left behind.
